Iris made her mark from the start. She finished her AKC Championship in just five shows—earning four majors and capping it off by going Best of Breed over nine champions. These weren’t just any competitors—they included some of the top Border Collies in the nation.
A Swift Rise to the Top
Not one to slow down, Iris claimed her Grand Championship in only three weekends. Her crowning achievement came on September 1, 2019, when she earned the prestigious Best in Specialty Show (BISS) title at the BCCNC Breed Specialty in Grass Valley, California. We remain deeply grateful to Breeder Judge Lorna Hastings Menaker for recognizing her outstanding quality.

While Iris shines in the ring, she also brings joy in other arenas. She loves coursing—though unlike most, she doesn’t want to “catch” the lure. We were stunned, excited, and honestly overwhelmed. This wasn’t just any breeding. Half the Border Collie world had their eyes on this pairing. And suddenly, we were offered the most treasured pup from it. Cherry’s dam is none other than 2015 World Winner Breaking Dawn By The Lake “Kendra”, so it’s safe to say—expectations are high.
A Bright Start and Big Dreams
Cherry has already begun fulfilling her destiny. She completed her AKC Championship quickly, earning three majors in her debut year. She’s now enjoying the fun side of life, training in both herding and lure coursing—two outlets where her energy and intelligence shine.

Hannah: The Foundation of Our Border Collie Females
Hannah holds a special place in our hearts and our history. She’s not just our first show dog—she’s the foundation of our kennel and the reason we stepped into the ring in the first place.
A Winning Debut
Her very first show was also Frank’s debut as a handler. Remarkably, the two went Winners Bitch (WB) and Best of Winners (BOW) for a 5-point major—the highest possible number of points at a single show. From that moment on, we were completely hooked on the show world.
A Team Built on Trust
Frank and Hannah became an incredible team. With limited showing, she earned her Champion title in under six months. Every step of the way, she was owner-handled and owner-groomed. Her Grand Championship journey took more time—about a year—but every moment was worth it.
The Heart of Our Program
As the matriarch of our program, Hannah paved the way for future generations of border collie females. Her structure, presence, and unwavering connection with Frank set the gold standard for what we aim to produce. While her days in the ring are behind her, her legacy continues through her puppies and the spirit she brings to our home.

Lily was our very first Border Collie—and the beginning of it all. While her conformation may not meet breed standards, her intelligence, loyalty, and endless desire to please make her unforgettable. She sparked something deeper than just a love for the breed—she lit a fire in our hearts.
The Dream That Wasn’t Meant to Be
We had big dreams for Lily. Her bright spirit and exceptional temperament made her everything we wanted in a foundation dam. However, one heartbreaking x-ray changed everything. With an OFA rating of Moderate Hip Dysplasia, we made the painful but necessary decision never to breed her. It wasn’t about ribbons or titles—it was about doing right by her and the breed.
Turning Heartbreak Into Purpose
That heartbreak gave birth to our mission. We set out to breed border collie females and males who are sound in both mind and body. Our goal became clear: to spare others from the kind of devastation we felt. We believe no one should have to choose between a loving companion and a healthy, structurally sound dog.
